Law 25 Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sedgman Novopro, a member of the CIMIC Group, handles personal information collected through sedgmannovopro.com, under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). The CIMIC Group privacy policy also applies.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email, phone (optional) and message, only to answer your request. The message is sent to us by email and is not stored on the website.
  • Visit statistics: Google Analytics, only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your choice with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
  • Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) to run and secure the site.

Sharing and storage outside Quebec

Only the people who need it to answer you, within Sedgman Novopro and the CIMIC Group, see your information. Our website hosting, email and analytics providers may store it outside Quebec. Before doing so, we make sure it will be adequately protected. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Contact messages: 3 years after our last contact with you. Analytics data: 14 months. Server logs: about one month.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to the Privacy Officer. We answer within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
